E.C. Barton Competes in Corporate Olympics

Corporate Olympics provides a day of fun for partners near the E.C. Barton headquarters to compete in a corporate showdown. Each year, the various departments create and merge teams together to take on other local businesses in fun, competitive activities and challenges.

This program not only provides activities, but is a fundraising initiative for the community. Corporate Olympics is organized by the Community Health Education Foundation (CHEF). This group provides health education programs and services in the Northeast Arkansas area, as well as provides the largest free Women’s Health Screening Conference in the state. CHEF provides free onsite screenings and educational programs for businesses and provides the only Heart Truth program in the state. The organization focuses on increasing exercise and health awareness for employees and provides efficient access in the workplace.

All money raised by Corporate Olympics is put back into the community, increasing health awareness locally.

As you can see from the events listed below, there is potential for a good belly laugh each year!

In typical E.C. Barton & Company fashion, the company teams crushed many events, had some “Kodak” moments while competing and most importantly, had a bonding experience along the way.

This event provides an excellent team-building experience. Partners can enjoy some time outside the office for a good cause that benefits the community, company, and their personal health.
