Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions include the following, other activities may be assigned:
Responsible for support the marketing team in the tactical execution of day-to-day duties for marketing and social media initiatives to stay organized and keep internal department processes running smoothly. Is available to assist with whatever the priority is at any given moment.
Collects information and images for the weekly internal newsletter and presents draft for review each week.
Collection and organization of prepared reporting, competitive analysis, project briefs, etc. for the department.
Maintain marketing databases including media and news contact lists, social influencer contact lists, earned media coverage, and more.
Aids Director of Marketing in keeping project management tool updated and stays abreast of the status of projects and upcoming deadlines.
Responsible for assisting in the monitoring and maintenance of all social media channels for E.C. Barton & Company including responding to comments, mentions, reviews and queries in a timely manner.
Assists in the monitoring and maintenance of online customer review sites and the responses or actions required in a timely manner.
Works with team to help with procurement of marketing assets, including images, video and copy.
May aid in planning community engagement efforts and community events as needed.
Must have previous experience in a professional office environment.
Basic understanding of marketing functions and/or willingness to learn.
